“minimal windows”, a new holistic concept

Due to a high degree of flexibility, compromises in design are hardly necessary. Thanks to the slender and modular design, the system can be used for large or small widths, for facades and indoor applications. Particularly when installed in existing objects, the KELLER “minimal windows” sliding system allows the original building character to be maintained or - if desired - highlights and even contrasts to be created.

The whole concept is structured in such a way that the roller carriage cassette into which the precision running stainless steel rollers are later inserted as a module is integrated even during the production of the insulated glass. Even a large number of very large sliding elements can thus be used that are matched to one another. The installed cartridge is almost invisible! Overall a moving structure is created between a insulated glass pane and a running rail in an absolute minimum of installation space.
Panoramic view outdoors The integrated running rails of the “minimal windows” system permit effortless and noiseless opening and closing of the transparent panels. Minimally-sized housings with stainless steel rollers are inserted at exactly calculated points of the glass sheathing. Due to their design and position, the running components are hardly exposed to weather and dirt, so that a long and trouble-free service life of opening and closing is guaranteed. Extremely slender profiles that don’t obstruct the view. The innovative “minimal windows” - system allows a low construction depth while providing highest stability. The visible width of the intermediate profiles is only 20mm. This provides almost completely frameless transparency. Even when closed, the view out of the room flooded with light into the nature outside has no restrictions. The proportion of insulating glass is 95-99 % depending on type and design - and gives a sense of 100% wellbeing.

Durable safety Leaf weights of up to several hundred kilograms and extreme smooth running of the movement system can cause leaf impulse values. A braking system, which degressively “cushions” the closing sliding leaf, enables the leaf to approach the end position at low speed. The entire closing technology is harmoniously integrated into the handle design. The glazings are connected to the system in such a way that they offer the ultimate in security and prevent simple levering up and out.
Experience coupled with competence Since its foundation, KELLER AG has placed high importance on the new and further development of individual components and of entire systems. The innovative developments of KELLER AG include amongst other things the creation and technical implementation of completely new product ranges such as “Orangerie Elegance” and “Orangerie Garden Pavillons” and the latest one, “Glasshouse”. These developments have set standards in conservatory construction and are all the product of the interplay between high technical know-how, many years of craft experience, competent employees and partners, the quality of the materials employed and the feeling for design and aesthetics.
